Where do you teach?

Tring Pilates Studio 39 Christchurch Road Tring Herts HP23 4PE

My teaching tips

Keep your verbal cues simple and minimum but use lots of imageries. Use your eyes as a powerful scanner!!

Favourite Exercise and reason why

The Hip Circle on the Reformer. not for beginner but a real massage of the whole spine combining articulation ,flexion and extension. and of course requires good core stability to be executed safely. It allows the whole body to breathe deeply.

In a nutshell, tell us a little bit about yourself and your experience in the industry

French, Ba(hons) Dance from laban Centre London.mother of 2. Trained originally with Alan Herman and Gordon Thomson then also certified with Polestar. Recently became a master trainer for Caroline Anthony (The centre for Women's Fitness) Pilates and Pregnancy.
been teaching since 1985 and open current studio in 2000. Mainly a clinical studio and also a teacher training centre. My main interest in to improve people's quality of life and assist them in recovering from any traumas being physical or emotional or both. but also having some fun while doing it.

Do you have a motto or mission statement?

Less is More. Simplicity versus complexity. Be very serious about your job but do not take yourself seriously. Always keep learning and share your knowledge with others

Where do you see yourself in 5 years from now?

In 5 years time I hopefully would have created a well being centre with a Pilates training centre attached. I also will be a master trainer for Lolita San Miguel and also would have spread the Centre for Women's Fitness Pilates and Pregancy certification course to lots of Pilates teacher in Europe. But most of all I will continue to improve my skills and knowledge and keep true to myself while still inspiring and improving people's quality of life
