Rowland House, in consultation and partnership with the Pilates Union, has developed a comprehensive and price competitive combined professional indemnity and public/products liability product for members. The insurer is CGU.
Rowland House Insurance includes:
- Cover for damages in the event a financial indemnity is awarded to a third party
- Cover for allegations of professional wrongdoing in the delivery of your professional services. For example, negligent advice, treatment injury, incorrect diagnosis, breach of confidentiality and privacy
- Legal assistance and defence costs cover
- Libel and Slander / Defamation Claims
- Nil Excess
Coverage Description
- Public Liability - covers claims for accidental bodily injury or property damage to clients and/or members of the public at your premises or anywhere you work within Australia or New Zealand. For example, a third party falling and injuring themselves because of a slippery floor.
- Products Liability - covers claims of bodily injury or property damage arising from the failure of goods sold or supplied by you. This cover does not extend to wholesale or retail production and/or distribution of products for which no therapeutic consultation has taken place between you and the individual client.
